Would you like to date like you know what you’re doing?

Then among other things, that’s going to require having a vision for dating that is both inspiring and realistic.

Proverbs 29:18 warns us, “Without a vision the people perish.”

The Hebrew word for “perish” is also interpreted as “cast off restraint” or “run wild.” So put that all together and the passage is basically saying, “Without a vision, people cast off restraint and run wild. Until they die.”

Doesn’t that sound a bit like contemporary dating?

• Middle schoolers date without ever going on dates.
• High school and college students hook up without ever going on dates.
• Young adults into their 30s date online without ever going on dates and without getting any closer to marriage than they were back in middle school.

This is why it makes so much sense to prepare to date before you date. But even if you’ve been dating for years, there’s no better time than now to figure out what you should have been doing (and not doing) all along.

That’s what Date Like You Know is all about!

Date Like You Know is an 8-week in-person class designed to prepare young adults (18 -30ish) to date like they know what they’re doing.
